Internationale Briefmarken - Messe




Frill-necked Lizard Frama issued on Sep. 1st 1989, the overprint '8. Internationale Briefmarken - Messe' issued on 19th April 1990, the event closed on 22th April.

The Frill-necked, or Frilled Lizard is found in wooded areas over north Australia, where it feeds on insects and mice. When alarmed, the lizard opens its mouth, causing the frill round its neck to become erect.
