Festival Berlioz

Hector Berlioz, 1803-1869, one of the greatest French composer at 19th century and also excellent in all these different fields.
Festival Berlioz is a great concerts and show of his works, take place at town La-Côte-Saint-André where he was born.

The form of "festival" appears in 1979. The concerts were then programmed in Lyon. This demonstration, directed by Serge BAUDO, proceeded until 1989. A few years later, a new project of festival centered this time at the Coast-Saint-Andre.

This year, it will start on 17th Aug., till 30th Aug.

This ATM cover is FDC, sent on July 2nd 1985, with 'Festival Berlioz' adv. cancellation from Lyon.

The GREEN issued on 18th April, and BLUE on 9th May. I don't think it is good performance of blue on red background.

World Games 2009 - Complete Set

World Games 2009 - Kaohsiung Twin Pagodas, 4 colors, complete set.

Set I - Domestic Postage: 5, 12, 25, 32$
Set II - Internationl Postage: 9, 13, 15, 17$

World Games 2009 - FDCs

This is the first time Taiwan take the World Games, the location is Gaoxiong(also called Kaohsiung) city, south of Taiwan. The games was hold from 16th to 21th July 2009.
To celebrate the games, Taiwan Post issued new ATM lable with Twin Pagodas(Dragon & Tiger), located on the Zuoying town of the city.

The issue day is 16th July, there are four colors(Black, Red, Green, Blue) ribbons installed on the machines which were on the live of stamp exhibition. Othere machines used black ribbon outside of the exhibition.

The scans are FDC made by Aerogramme, send to China, postage is 8$.
