Paris 2011 - Philatelic Salon of Autumn

The salson took place during 3th-6th Nov. 2011 in Paris, main players are UK and France I supposed, that is why there topic is about UK first stamp (black penny) and constructure(Big Ben, Bridge).

This time, La Poste issued two ATMs, and on two different machines, LISA and IER. Interesting the button value is different from the two machine.

The Macau Wall ATM issue (re-imprint), seems like the surface of label value $12 was stuck on another label's bottom. After splited them, the image of label $12 were removed by abother label.

France Post introduced one new tariff 'Green Letter' on Sep. 30th. The basic tariff is EUR 0.53 for domestic letter, it takes around 5 days to delivery letter. While priority letter cost EUR 0.56 taking around 3 days.

Hytech came back again on Stampex Autumn, continue to trial its ATM machine during the event. This time, it printed addtional text 'Arnold Machin 1911-1999' on the label, and also used new machine number 94, 95.
Another action is it added new tariff 'Worldwide up to 40g'.

Taiwan issue DEER ATM for celebrating the stamp exhibition this month. The event is for commemorative of Republic of China 100th annv.

But during March, The post office Grimspy installed old issue 'Queen Head' on the two machines. And the two machine has different receipts, below.

Macau Klussendorf - strong ink

Most of Klussendrf issue of Macau ATM Nr. 1 has the pale print, thus the first star * is not clear on the tower, invisible.
But above ATM's ink is strong, that is easy to identify the star on the tower. The letter was posted on 9/9/94.
Not sure if it is really the post office use pale ink to operate the machine or is just concicounce.

For 84th congress of Federal France o Assossication Philatelic, La Poste issue ATM on 10th June 2011, from machine LISA. This is also event of 100th anniversary of post office of Metz.

I like France ATM from LISA much more than IER, later machine used thermal print which can not keep the print for a long time. Unfortunately, most of ATM comes from IER these years.
I supposed LISA machine is comming to end of life, and also can not be update its programma easily.
As we know, La Poste is trialing new IER and Wincore-Nixdorf machine, maybe this will phase out LISA definitely, who knows.
As collector, I wish the quality of new machine don't be like current IER's thermal printing, only two years later, the print of ATM will disappear.

World Heritage 2009 Nagler

Macau Post(CTT) installed ATM label 'World Heritage edition 2009' on Nalger machine (availabel on Klussendor in the before) on 17th June 2011, above is the registered FDC, weight 60g.
Now the orignial edition label 'World Heritage 2008) was phased out. There are Lotus Bridge 2000, Energy Saving 2006, and World Heritage 2009 available on both Klussendorf and Nalger.

France issue ATM on 8th April for Philately Salon of Spring holded on Angers. It is the third time to issue ATM for event on Angers.

Still using IER machine for the ATM, but the format got updated, here we can see the type of MINI MAX was changed from intaglio to relif by cut in.

The fonts of receipt was from normal to bold, and some style were changed too.

Hytech Trial

Royal Mail (or the Post Office) trial the new ATM machine - Postal Vision made by Hytech (Dutch company) at Stampex 2011 London, during 23th - 25th Feb.

It used Queen Head label in the machine, and its fonts are very close to current Wincor-Nixdorf ATM, but still have difference. And the barcode is easy to identify. Especiall for the machine code, Hytech use two digitals, while Wincor-Nixdorf use one.
On this event, customers can not permit to operate the machine, they can buy complete set operated by counter.
From above, the red one is printer, independant from the machine with touch screen.

Fengshan and Pingdong post offices cooperate to issue Green and Blue print on peony ATM at 6th April.
All above is the first day to release color print on peony ATM since its issue black print on 18th March.

Taiwan issued Paint ATM on 18th March 2011, the topic is peony. The paint is from Yun Shouping, paint artist from Qing Dynasty.
Since this day, Taiwan changed the program of machine to release face value to max NT 100$ officially. In the before, the max value is 99$. Now, we already found 100$ on ATM Post Link, Tung flower (1, 2, 3, 4), and Panda.

On its first issue day, there is black print only. Later, there are green, blue and red print.

South Africa adjust the postage tariff since 14th Aug. 1986, changed again till 1st April 1987. In the period, Inland letter's tariff is 0.14. Above FDC is certificate mail, tariff is 0.44, arrived on second day.

Registered letter tariff is 0.79, arrived on second day.

Same Day Service letter tariff is 5.00, arrived on second day. The postage is very expensive, but has no tracking number, and not faster than register or certificate mail. I suppose this service is just for those mail urgent, but not important.

We can see the difference between the ATM of Grimsby and Bristol, on the characters. Looks like the ATM of Bristol were pre-printed, and same process to the motif printing, not printed by ATM machine.

As we know the character is comma of face value from Nehterland ATM, whatever it is from machine Wincore-Nixdorf, aCon, or Gunnebo .

All the ATM machines were closed now. Before the close of machine Wincore-Nixdorf, machine number PK000006, PK000007, if user select Dutch on the screen operation, he can still get the normal ATM print. But if he select English, the character is 'Dot', not comma. Above ATM is from machine PK000007.

Because most of local user select Dutch to buy the ATM, so only few local users and foreigners can get the deviated ATM.

HK - machine moved

The label machine was closed since 22th Jan. at Hennessy Road post office, and will start over at Tunmen post office on 8th Feb.

The machine is operated by user, not by administrator, so called self service machine of post.

Another machine located on eCenter post office, still working.

Above cover has one that label affixed from hennessy road po.

We can not see any Euro signs on above stamps, but the ATM of Bonn Post Tower is Euro value, other 3 stamps are old Mark.
The R letter was posted on 23th Dec. 2010.

Thailand R-letter sent to Singapore with postage label affixed. The cancel day is 29th Nov. 1995. Same type to Japan's.

Singapore R-letter with postage label, posted on 31th Aug. 1995. It is interesting they cancel the label. Same type to Japan's.

R-letter to Singapore on 15th Nov. 1991 from Japan.

Japan postagel lable letter, express to Singapore on 28th Nov. 1990. The motif is pigeon, present letter carrier.

Indonesia registered letter with postage label sent to Singapore on 30th Nov. 2995. The label is the same type to Japan's.

Germany letter was sent to China with computer postage label (2-d code) on Dec. 23th 2010. The postage label was affixed on the postal stationary ILIAS.

Czech Rep. registered letter with postage label, sent to France on 24th July 2008.
